Job Description
The Manager of R D Tax Credit Services will lead efforts to help clients maximize their research and development tax credits, working within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm to deliver strategic tax solutions and foster client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee R&D tax credit services for clients
- Identify and analyze eligible R&D activities and expenses
- Prepare and review tax credit calculations and documentation
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
- Assist in the development of strategies to maximize client tax credits
- Support business development efforts related to R&D tax services
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D tax credit services or related tax consulting roles.
- Proven expertise in managing and overseeing R&D tax credit projects and client engagements.
- Strong understanding of federal and state R&D tax credit regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical and financial data related to R&D activities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience working with a CPA or advisory firm specializing in tax services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior staff or team members in tax projects.
- Physical ability to work in an office environment, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
