Job Description
An internship position within Aprio's Information Assurance Services team, offering students hands-on experience in evaluating risk management and compliance programs, working with various industry standards, and gaining insight into audit processes for a range of clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating companies' Risk Management and Compliance programs.
- Participate in executing audits from planning to reporting stages.
- Gain exposure to industry-leading information security and attestation standards and frameworks.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student and available to participate in the Fall 2026 September - December Internship Program.
- Able to work with a variety of clients, from start-up to Fortune 500 companies.
- Willing to participate in structured training as a case study to build a general understanding of controls and of executing an audit in all stages, from planning to reporting, before joining an audit team.
- Exposure to or willingness to learn about industry-leading information security and attestation standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, SOC 1, SOC 2, and HITRUST.
