Job Description
The Audit Leader in manufacturing will oversee and lead audit engagements, providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance for manufacturing clients within a dynamic CPA and advisory firm. The role involves managing client relationships, mentoring team members, and contributing to the firm's growth and innovation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee manufacturing audit engagements
- Plan, execute, and review audit procedures for manufacturing clients
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements during audits
Requirements
- Significant manufacturing experience relevant to the audit leadership role.
- Experience in leading or managing audit engagements within the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to oversee and execute complex manufacturing audits, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor audit team members in a manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, controls, and industry-specific risks.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships within the manufacturing sector.
- Experience with planning, executing, and completing manufacturing audits from start to finish.
- Ability to identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients and team members.
- Relevant educational background, such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Possession of or eligibility for a CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience in a public accounting or CPA firm environment performing manufacturing audits.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
- Physical ability to perform audit work, including visiting client sites as required.
