Job Description
The Tax Manager at Aprio will lead and support tax-related services for clients, working within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm to maximize client opportunities and ensure compliance, while collaborating with a passionate team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in maximizing their tax opportunities
- Manage and oversee tax planning and compliance for clients
- Provide guidance on complex tax issues and strategies
Requirements
- Possession of a CPA Certification or the ability to obtain CPA Certification with assistance and bonus program support.
- Experience working in a professional services environment, specifically in tax management or related roles, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-energy, ambitious team of professionals in a fast-growing firm.
- Willingness to grow professionally through continuous learning and advancement opportunities.
- Physical ability to work onsite if assigned to onsite roles, including participation in programs such as free shuttle service and onsite meals.
- Availability to work in a hybrid setup if the role is designated as such, subject to location, terms, and conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliver quality tax services.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment and tax services.
