Job Description
A Senior Audit Associate at Aprio will perform and oversee audit engagements for private and closely-held companies, ensuring accurate financial statements, compliance with professional standards, and providing clients with valuable financial insights to support sound business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audits for private and closely-held companies to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Adhere to PCAOB standards and provide assurance services to clients.
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and efficient audit processes.
- Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations based on audit findings.
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be in the process of obtaining CPA Certification, with assistance and bonus programs available.
- Have experience working as an Audit Associate, preferably with private and closely-held companies, providing precise financial statements and assurance services.
- Adhere to the highest professional standards as a registered member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
- Demonstrate the ability to build trusted relationships, communicate clearly, and work efficiently throughout the audit process.
- Be willing to work in a hybrid setup, with location, terms, and conditions to be specified for selected roles.
- Possess the ability to work with a high-energy, passionate, caring, and ambitious team in a collaborative culture.
- Be committed to continuous professional growth and learning in the field of auditing and assurance services.
- Be able to work full-time as a team member, with availability for on-site work if required, and participate in on-demand learning classes.
- Meet all legal and employment eligibility requirements to work in the specified location without restrictions.
