Job Description
A Senior Audit Associate at Aprio is responsible for conducting audits for private and closely-held companies, providing assurance and financial insights to help clients manage risks and make informed business decisions, while adhering to professional standards and building trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audits for private and closely-held companies to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Adhere to PCAOB standards and provide assurance services to clients.
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication and efficient audit processes.
- Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements.
- Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be willing to obtain CPA Certification with assistance provided.
- Have experience working as a Senior Audit Associate or in a similar role within an audit or assurance environment.
- Have experience working with private and closely-held companies, providing precise financial statements and assurance services.
- Adhere to the highest professional standards as a registered member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
- Demonstrate the ability to build trusted relationships, communicate clearly, and work efficiently throughout the audit process.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and assurance services.
- Be able to work in a hybrid setup if the role is designated as such, with terms and conditions to be specified.
- Be willing to participate in on-demand learning classes and continuous professional development.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a high-energy, collaborative team of professionals.
- Meet any physical demands required for onsite work, including the ability to commute via provided shuttle service if applicable.
