Job Description
The Senior Associate in Assurance Services at Aprio will work with a dynamic team to perform audit and assurance engagements, helping clients optimize their opportunities while contributing to a fast-growing, collaborative firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with maximizing opportunities through assurance and audit services
- Perform audit procedures and substantive testing on client financial statements
- Identify and communicate audit findings and issues to clients and team members
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be willing to obtain CPA Certification with assistance provided by the company.
- Have professional experience relevant to assurance or audit services, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and assurance procedures.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members across diverse languages and cultures.
- Be able to work in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to work onsite or remotely as per role requirements and company terms.
- Be willing to participate in on-demand learning classes and continuous professional development activities.
- Meet physical demands typical of an office environment, including sitting for extended periods and working at a computer.
- Have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a high-energy, ambitious work culture.
