Job Description
The Learning and Development Senior Specialist, Assurance Training at Aprio is responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing high-quality training programs to enhance the professional growth of assurance professionals, utilizing instructional design methodologies and collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure relevant and effective learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality training programs to enhance assurance professionals' expertise
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and assurance partners to develop accurate and relevant training content
- Translate complex assurance topics into accessible learning experiences
- Assess and improve the effectiveness of training programs
- Manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
- Apply instructional design methodologies to develop training materials
Requirements
- Possess a strong foundation in instructional design methodologies and be able to apply these concepts in a professional services environment.
- Have a strong understanding of Assurance software.
- Ability to translate complex Assurance topics into accessible and practical learning experiences.
- Experience in delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the professional growth and expertise of assurance professionals.
- Capability to facilitate engaging training sessions both in-person and virtually.
- Ability to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and creative engagement of learners.
- Ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Natural curiosity, innovation, and adaptability to the evolving development needs of the Assurance team.
- Report directly to the Senior Manager, Learning Development, indicating the need for professionalism and collaboration skills.
- Occasional travel may be required for training delivery or participation in firmwide learning initiatives.
