Job Description
The Tax Associate, Cost Segregation at Aprio is responsible for assisting clients in maximizing their opportunities through cost segregation strategies, working within a dynamic, growth-oriented team at a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cost segregation studies to maximize client tax benefits
- Analyze property data to identify asset classifications for tax purposes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery
Requirements
- Possession of a CPA Certification or willingness to obtain CPA Certification with assistance and bonus program provided
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-energy, passionate, caring, and ambitious team of professionals in a collaborative culture
- Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to grow professionally in an environment that fosters continuous learning and advancement
- Ability to perform cost segregation analysis and related tasks as part of the Specialty Tax team
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup if the role is designated as such, subject to location, terms, and conditions
- Ability to work full-time as a team member, including onsite work if applicable, with access to onsite perks such as shuttle service and free lunch
- Willingness to participate in on-demand learning classes and continuous professional development
