Job Description

The Audit Project Specialist at Aprio works with a team of experts to help clients improve financial reporting, internal controls, and evaluate accounting issues, ensuring they stay compliant with regulations and make strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in improving clients' financial reporting capabilities and internal controls
  • Evaluate accounting issues and stay updated on new accounting regulations
  • Help assess the quality of information used for strategic business decisions
  • Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements
  • Support the audit team in mitigating financial and business risks for clients

Requirements

  • Possess a CPA Certification or be in the process of obtaining CPA certification (CPA Certification Assistance and Bonus Program).
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment with high-energy, passionate, caring, and ambitious professionals.
  • Willingness to grow professionally through continuous learning and advancement opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup, with location, terms, and conditions to be determined based on the role.
  • Ability to work with businesses and industry leaders to evaluate financial reporting capabilities, internal controls, and accounting issues.
  • Ability to stay updated with new accounting regulations that could impact long-term business growth.
  • Ability to assess the quality of information used for strategic business decisions and identify areas for operational efficiency improvements.
