Job Description
The Audit Project Specialist at Aprio works with a team of experts to help clients improve financial reporting, internal controls, and evaluate accounting issues, ensuring they stay compliant with regulations and make strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in improving clients' financial reporting capabilities and internal controls
- Evaluate accounting issues and stay updated on new accounting regulations
- Help assess the quality of information used for strategic business decisions
- Identify areas for operational efficiency improvements
- Support the audit team in mitigating financial and business risks for clients
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be in the process of obtaining CPA certification (CPA Certification Assistance and Bonus Program).
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment with high-energy, passionate, caring, and ambitious professionals.
- Willingness to grow professionally through continuous learning and advancement opportunities.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, with location, terms, and conditions to be determined based on the role.
- Ability to work with businesses and industry leaders to evaluate financial reporting capabilities, internal controls, and accounting issues.
- Ability to stay updated with new accounting regulations that could impact long-term business growth.
- Ability to assess the quality of information used for strategic business decisions and identify areas for operational efficiency improvements.
