Job Description
The Accounting Manager will lead a team to provide accurate financial reporting and accounting services to clients, overseeing client engagements and ensuring accounting accuracy while balancing team leadership and process improvements within a fast-growing, tech-forward CPA firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee client engagements to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting.
- Manage and develop a team of at least four accounting professionals.
- Serve as a technical and operational leader in accounting processes.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaborate with the US Accounting Manager to optimize client services and team performance.
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be eligible for CPA Certification Assistance
- Have audit experience, as the role is titled 'Accounting Manager with Audit experience'
- Experience in providing accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting to clients
- Ability to lead and oversee a team of at least four accounting professionals
- Serve as both a technical and operational leader by overseeing client engagements and ensuring accounting accuracy
- Proactive professional with strong team leadership skills and ability to balance client service with team management
- Experience in process improvement within accounting functions
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup if the role is location-specific, with terms and conditions to be clarified
- Physical and mental capacity to perform responsibilities related to managing client engagements and team oversight
