Job Description
An Accounting Manager at Aprio will lead a team to provide accurate financial reporting and accounting services to clients, overseeing client engagements and ensuring quality and compliance, while also contributing to team leadership and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee client engagements to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting.
- Manage and supervise a team of at least four accounting professionals, providing technical and operational leadership.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting processes and compliance with relevant standards.
- Balance client service delivery with team leadership and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Possess CPA Certification or be willing to obtain CPA Certification with assistance from the employer.
- Have audit experience, demonstrating knowledge and skills in auditing processes and standards.
- Experience in providing accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting to clients.
- Ability to lead and oversee a team of at least four team members, serving as both a technical and operational leader.
- Experience in overseeing client engagements to ensure accounting accuracy.
- Proactive professional with strong skills in balancing client service, team leadership, and process improvement.
- Ability to serve as a technical and operational leader within the accounting and audit functions.
- Experience working in a fast-growing industry or environment that requires strategic foresight and adaptability.
- Proficiency in managing multiple client accounts and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a high-energy, ambitious team environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workload and team responsibilities effectively.
