Job Description
The Accounting Associate is responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate filing of 1099 informational returns for clients, working closely with internal and external stakeholders in a project-based role from November 2025 to February 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the timely and accurate filing of 1099 informational returns for clients
- Work closely with internal and external clients regarding 1099 documentation and filing
- Support the preparation and submission of 1099 forms for payments made to non-employees
Requirements
- Assist in the timely and accurate filing of 1099s, which are informational returns in the United States that document payments made by business clients to individuals and businesses that are not employees.
- Work closely with internal and external clients to support the 1099 filing process.
- This role is project-based, beginning in November 2025 and ending in February 2026.
