Job Description
A Tax Internship position at Aprio offering hands-on experience in tax planning, consulting, and compliance for diverse clients, with opportunities for professional growth, networking, and involvement in community projects within a collaborative and innovative firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tax services for multiple clients across various industries.
- Interact with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement innovative tax strategies.
Requirements
- Candidates must be high-potential accounting students interested in Tax, with a desire to continue Aprio's standard of excellence and engage in hands-on accounting projects.
- Candidates must be enrolled in an academic program related to accounting or a similar field, and be eligible to participate in an internship during the Spring 2027 period (January to April).
- Candidates must have the ability to work with small, medium, and large clients across a variety of industries, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Candidates must be capable of interacting closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Candidates must be able to work closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies.
- Candidates must be willing to participate in a group project involving volunteering and social impact as part of the internship program.
- Candidates must be able to work in Mount Airy, NC, or be willing to relocate or commute to the location for the duration of the internship.
- Candidates must be able to work in a collaborative environment with diverse and energetic teams, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Candidates must be committed to professional development and growth, with a focus on continuous learning and advancement.
- Candidates must be able to participate in networking events and activities designed to connect interns with employees and partners within the company.
