Job Description
A Tax Internship position at Aprio offering hands-on experience in tax planning, consulting, and compliance services for diverse clients, with opportunities for professional growth, networking, and involvement in community projects within a collaborative and innovative firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tax services for multiple clients across various industries
- Interact with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
- Collaborate with partners to develop and implement innovative tax strategies
Requirements
- Candidates must be high-potential accounting students interested in Tax.
- Candidates must want to continue Aprio's standard of excellence and be willing to dive straight into hands-on accounting projects.
- Candidates must be available to participate in the Spring 2027 January - April Internship Program.
- Candidates must be willing to work with small, medium, and large clients across a diverse client base.
- Candidates must have the ability to interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
- Candidates must be able to work closely with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategies.
- Candidates must be able to work with and form relationships with middle to large-sized tax clients.
- Candidates must be able to work in a collaborative environment with diverse and energetic teams.
- Candidates must be willing to participate in a group project involving volunteering and social impact as part of the internship.
- Candidates must be able to work in the Mount Airy, NC office for the duration of the internship.
