Job Description
A Senior Frontend Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining applications that enable customers to deploy and operate autonomous robots, focusing on improving user experience and building modular, reliable frontend solutions within a cutting-edge robotics company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Workforce Suite applications, including Data Navigator, Mission Controller, and Field Operator App.
- Collaborate with UX designers, Backend Engineers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and Robotics Specialists to improve user experience.
- Create modular, reliable, and reusable frontend solutions to enhance development efficiency.
- Implement features that enable customers to deploy and operate autonomous robots effectively.
- Ensure the frontend solutions are effective in challenging industrial environments and accessible regardless of user background.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with the ability to develop and maintain frontend applications, specifically including experience with Data Navigator, Mission Controller, and Field Operator App or similar applications.
- Strong proficiency in frontend development practices, including building modular, reliable, and reusable solutions.
- Experience working closely with UX designers, Backend Engineers, Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and Robotics Specialists to improve end-user experience.
- Ability to evolve frontend development practices to ensure an effective developer experience.
- Demonstrated ability to surface valuable and actionable inspection insights through frontend applications.
- Experience in developing applications that operate effectively in challenging industrial environments and are accessible regardless of the user’s background and prior knowledge.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (implied but not explicitly specified).
