Job Description

A Senior Backend Engineer will design and develop the backend software for advanced robotic applications, enabling complex tasks, integrations, and improved performance of industrial robots like ANYmal, contributing to the company's mission to revolutionize mobile robotics across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop the backend of robotic applications for ANYmal
Implement software solutions to enable complex robot functionalities
Create APIs for integration with software and cloud technology partners
Optimize robot performance and capabilities through backend enhancements
Contribute to making robots smarter, more robust, and user-friendly

Requirements

Have the legal right to live and work in Spain.
Ideally reside in Barcelona or be open to relocating to Barcelona.
Experience in designing and developing backend software solutions for robotic applications.
Proficiency in web technologies relevant to backend development.
Experience in designing and implementing APIs that enable collaboration with software and cloud technology partners.
Ability to develop software solutions that allow robotic systems like ANYmal to perform complex jobs.
Experience in optimizing the performance and skills of robotic systems through software development.
Strong understanding of software development best practices for creating robust, scalable, and user-friendly backend systems.
Experience working in a fast-paced software engineering environment.
Ability to contribute to the design and development of the backend of next-generation robotic applications.
Experience in developing software that integrates with facility management systems and supports autonomous inspection and monitoring of industrial facilities.
