A Data Analyst responsible for importing, transforming, and configuring customer data within the Affinity platform, creating reports and dashboards, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and data utilization.
Key Responsibilities
Import, transform, and configure customer CSV data within the platform
Manage the data import queue, tracking status, ETA, priority, and next steps
Clean, deduplicate, and validate data to ensure high-quality imports
Collaborate with teams to map customer data to the platform's data model
Lead requirements-gathering conversations to understand customer workflows and reporting needs
Translate customer requirements into data configurations and reports
Build and deliver reports and dashboards to surface key insights from data
Communicate proactively with customers to clarify data formats, timelines, and progress
Leverage AI tools to automate and standardize workflows
Requirements
Experience importing and transforming customer CSV data into Affinity, including configuring tables, lists, and fields to support customer workflows.
Ability to manage the data import queue with discipline, tracking status, ETA, priority, and next steps for every import.
Proficiency in cleaning, deduplicating, and validating data to ensure high-quality imports.
Experience working with Onboarding and Implementation teams to map customer data to Affinity's data model.
Leading requirements-gathering conversations with customers to understand their data structures, workflows, and reporting needs.
Translating customer requirements into well-structured data configurations and reports that align with their business goals.
Building and delivering clear reports and dashboards that surface key insights from imported data.
Communicating proactively with customers to clarify data formats, align on timelines, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the onboarding process.
Leveraging AI tools to automate and templatize repeatable workflows.
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables, and text manipulation.
Strong client communication skills, with the ability to lead requirements-gathering conversations, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Confident communication skills to present data findings and reports to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise way.
Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
Familiarity with CRM platforms or database concepts such as fields, records, and relationships.
Good communication skills.
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple imports with competing deadlines.
Experience with data analytics, reporting, or dashboard building using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
