Job Description
A Senior Backend Engineer will design and develop the backend software for advanced robotic applications, enabling complex functionalities, integrations, and performance optimizations for industrial robots like ANYmal.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop the backend of robotic applications for ANYmal
- Create APIs to enable collaboration with software and cloud technology partners
- Implement software solutions for complex robotic tasks
- Optimize robot performance and capabilities through backend enhancements
- Contribute to making robots smarter, more robust, and user-friendly
Requirements
- Have the legal right to live and work in Spain.
- Ideally reside in Barcelona or be open to relocating to Barcelona.
- Experience in designing and developing backend software solutions for robotic applications.
- Proficiency in web technologies relevant to backend development.
- Experience in designing and implementing APIs that enable collaboration with software and cloud technology partners.
- Ability to develop software solutions that allow robotic systems (such as ANYmal) to perform complex jobs.
- Experience in optimizing the performance and skills of robotic systems through software development.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices for creating robust, scalable, and user-friendly systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced software engineering environment.
- Experience in developing software for autonomous systems or industrial robotics is preferred but not explicitly stated as mandatory.
