Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer in the Identity Access Management Integrations Team responsible for developing and maintaining APIs, integration platforms, and access management systems to enhance the company's relationship intelligence platform, with a focus on backend development and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the technical roadmap and implementation of API layers, integration platform, and access management systems
- Own and maintain product areas critical to customer success and business goals
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop solutions
- Establish and promote best practices for APIs, integrations, and IAM systems to ensure performance and reliability
- Prototype, iterate, and deliver end-to-end solutions rapidly
- Mentor other engineers to improve team skills and capabilities
Requirements
- Have 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience as a senior member of a team delivering end-to-end systems.
- Have worked with a variety of web APIs and developed backend services using modern Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices.
- Have a strong understanding of relational databases and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks at the database layer.
- Be comfortable troubleshooting across network, application, caching, queuing, and storage layers.
- Have helped teams solve high-scale challenges, integrate systems, or develop business intelligence platforms.
- Communicate nuanced ideas clearly, whether explaining technical decisions in writing or brainstorming in real time.
- Demonstrate strong ownership instincts and attention to detail.
- Be proficient in English.
- Have experience with backend development in systems built with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Have experience with frontend development initiatives using Typescript and React (preferred but not mandatory).
