Job Description
A Robotics Experience Engineer responsible for improving the developer experience and efficiency for robotics software engineers working on the ANYmal robot, by streamlining development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment in a cutting-edge mobile robotics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance developer experience and efficiency for robotics software engineers
- Streamline development processes including local builds, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with quality, release automation, and configuration management engineers to ensure system robustness and usability
Requirements
- Experience in enhancing developer experience and efficiency for robotics software engineers.
- Proficiency in streamlining development throughout the software development lifecycle, including local builds, CI/CD pipelines, robot testing, and deployment.
- Ability to collaborate with quality engineers, release automation engineers, and configuration management engineers to ensure a robust, high-performing, and user-friendly system.
- Experience working with robotics software and hardware, specifically related to mobile robotics and robot systems such as ANYmal.
- Strong understanding of robotics software development processes and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize development workflows and improve automation processes in a robotics context.
