Job Description
A Product Designer at Amperity is responsible for designing and shaping the user experience of enterprise-level AI-powered customer data platform features, leading design strategy, evolving design systems, and mentoring team members to create intuitive, data-driven workflows for technical users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design world-class features and shape the strategic direction of the platform
- Lead the development and evolution of design system standards, patterns, and UI components
- Develop a deep understanding of technical users and create intuitive customer experiences for complex data workflows
- Coach and provide feedback to other designers to ensure quality and consistency
- Contribute to front-end implementation by working on UI components using HTML and CSS
- Facilitate design sprints, workshops, and critique sessions to align stakeholders around user-centric solutions
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of experience designing complex web-based applications from concept to launch.
- Proven experience navigating the complexities of enterprise-level product design, including data-heavy workflows and multi-persona ecosystems.
- Experience developing AI and AI Native applications, including the ability to do rapid prototyping and iterate with customers.
- Ability to use data and research to influence the product roadmap and business goals, demonstrating strategic empathy.
- Expertise in articulating the why behind design decisions to executive stakeholders, engineering leads, and customers, demonstrating communication excellence.
- Ability to thrive in the fuzzy front end of projects, creating clarity out of chaos and defining the path forward for others, demonstrating ambiguity ownership.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or component libraries, viewing code as part of the design process.
- Background in designing and producing SaaS products with an emphasis on data-visualization tools or web-based marketing tools.
- Location requirement: Ability to work in Seattle, WA, with a hybrid work model including three days in the office each week.

Compensation/salary range: 150,000-200,000 USD base salary, with cash incentives and stock options
