Job Description

The role involves leading technical sales efforts by understanding client needs, demonstrating the Amperity platform, and providing solutions that integrate AI and data management to enhance customer experiences for brands. It requires collaborating with sales teams, partners, and product teams to drive business growth and technical adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical aspects of the sales process by understanding prospects' business objectives, use cases, challenges, and architecture ecosystem.
  • Provide technical qualification and solutions consulting to prospects based on their business and technical requirements.
  • Continuously learn and serve as a technical product expert on the Amperity platform, guiding prospects on its applicability.
  • Present compelling solution overviews and demonstrations tailored to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, demonstrations, architecture sessions, and solution scoping.
  • Share technical insights and lessons learned with internal teams and contribute to thought leadership efforts.
  • Partner with ecosystem collaborators such as consulting firms and technology partners to expand market reach.
  • Support the transition of closed deals from pre-sales to post-sales, including technical documentation and onboarding.
  • Assist in post-sale account growth by providing technical guidance for expansion and upselling opportunities.
  • Provide product feedback to engineering to influence product development and improvements.
  • Respond to technical and solution-related aspects of RFPs and RFIs from prospects.
  • Engage relevant internal resources (Services, Product, Security) during sales opportunities to ensure success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years experience in customer-facing roles in the marketing technology or data analytics domain.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing technology, customer data management, data manipulation, database management, or business intelligence tool configuration and programming.
  • Awareness of modern data driven marketing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong skills in data analysis manipulation.
  • Learning Mindset - Curious about technology and how it works.
  • Client-focused attitude a customer advocate.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Experience with data related technology including SQL, databases, data integration tools, APIs, and Machine Learning.
