Job Description
A Technical Sales Specialist at Amber is responsible for engaging with prospective customers, educating them about Amber's renewable energy automation technology, and helping grow the company's customer base to support Australia's transition to 100% renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate prospective customers about Amber's technology and benefits
- Grow Amber's customer base through direct engagement
- Explain how Amber's Smartshift automation improves return on investment
- Support the transition to renewable energy by promoting Amber's solutions
Requirements
- Full-time role based in Melbourne with the ability to maintain flexibility between the office and work-from-home arrangements.
- Candidates must already be based in Australia with full working rights to apply.
- Experience in technical sales or a related field involving customer education and engagement.
- Ability to talk to prospective customers and educate them about how Amber works and how they can benefit from Amber’s Smartshift automation technology.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technology and benefits to potential customers.
- Experience or ability to effectively demonstrate how Amber’s solutions can improve customer return on investment.
- Willingness to participate in a structured hiring process including a screening interview, a take-home case study, follow-up interviews with sales leadership, and a semi-formal meeting with the General Manager of Sales.
