Job Description

A Senior Product Marketing Manager at Amber will serve as the key link between customers and the business, shaping product positioning, market insights, and go-to-market strategies to drive growth and innovation in renewable energy solutions for home batteries and electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate market insights into strategic guidance for the business
  • Shape how products are brought to market to both B2C and B2B2C channels
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and content plans
  • Act as the voice of the customer to inform product development and marketing
  • Coordinate inbound customer insights, market research, and strategic planning
  • Create enablement materials and content strategies for product marketing
  • Prioritize tasks and build scalable systems to deliver impactful, category-defining work

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Product Marketing Manager or in a similar senior product marketing role, with a broad scope including inbound customer insights, market research, strategic guidance, outbound go-to-market execution, content strategy, and enablement materials.
  • Ability to translate market insights into strategic guidance that drives decision-making across the business.
  • Experience in taking products to market directly to consumers (B2C) or through installer partners (B2B2C).
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to build scalable systems to deliver category-defining work that raises the bar for how tech companies bring products to market.
  • Full-time availability to work ideally from Melbourne, Australia, with flexibility to work from home or in a co-working space, and willingness to consider candidates anywhere within Australia.
  • Legal right to work in Australia with full working rights.
  • Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, content strategies, and enablement materials for technology or energy-related products.
  • Ability to be the voice of the customer inside the company and to communicate customer needs effectively across teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to shape how the company understands its customers and brings features to market.
  • Excellent communication skills to tell Amber’s story to the world and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment, with the ability to prioritize ruthlessly and deliver high-impact work.
