Job Description
A Sales Specialist role focused on growing Amber's customer base by educating prospective clients about their innovative renewable energy automation technology, helping them improve ROI and supporting Australia's transition to 100% renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers to promote Amber's products and services
- Educate customers on how Amber's Smartshift automation technology benefits their energy usage and investment
- Assist in growing Amber's customer base through direct sales activities
Requirements
- Candidates must have full working rights and be already based in Australia.
- The role requires working in a full-time capacity based in Melbourne, with flexibility to work from home and in the office, maintaining Melbourne-based presence.
- Experience in talking to prospective customers and educating them about technology or products related to energy, utilities, or renewable energy is required.
- Ability to explain how Amber's Smartshift automation technology benefits customers and improves their return on investment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage prospective customers about Amber's products and technology.
- Experience or familiarity with the energy industry, renewable energy, or home battery automation is preferred.
- Willingness to participate in a structured hiring process including a screening interview, a take-home case study, follow-up interviews with sales leadership, and a semi-formal meeting with the General Manager.
- Ability to work as part of a small team and contribute to growing Amber’s customer base.
- The role involves educating prospective customers about Amber’s products and benefits, indicating a need for persuasive and informative communication skills.
