Job Description
A Regulatory Compliance Officer at Amber will ensure the company's adherence to energy regulations, lead regulatory reporting and engagement, and support regulatory reform projects to facilitate the company's growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate regulatory reporting and engagement
- Deliver best practice regulatory compliance across the organization
- Support regulatory reform projects and growth opportunities requiring regulatory contact
- Work closely with teams to develop and maintain a compliance system that ensures operational adherence to regulations
- Collaborate with the Legal team and other departments to ensure compliance with energy regulatory frameworks
Requirements
- Experience of the energy regulatory framework gained from working within an energy sector participant or regulatory body.
- Ability to lead and coordinate regulatory reporting and engagement.
- Capability to help drive regulatory reform projects and Amber growth opportunities requiring regulatory contact.
- Strong track record in clear written and oral communications.
- Attention to detail and capability of multi-tasking.
- Experience working in or with the energy sector, specifically in roles related to regulatory compliance.
- Full working rights and Australian residency, preferably based in Melbourne.
