Job Description
The People Talent Advisor supports the People Operations team by executing projects that improve organizational processes, enhance community, and set employees up for success, with a focus on supporting talent acquisition and fostering a positive workplace culture in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the People Operations team in delivering projects that reduce friction and enhance community within the organization.
- Assist in executing talent acquisition activities and supporting employee onboarding processes.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Help implement strategies and initiatives that set employees up for success.
- Collaborate with leaders to improve people processes and organizational strategies.
Requirements
- Support the People Operations team to deliver and execute projects that eliminate high friction, amplify community, and set the company's people up for success.
- Be a fast learner who thrives in a dynamic environment and can figure things out without waiting for permission.
- Support colleagues and solve problems creatively with deep attention to detail, curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
- Have T-shaped skills comfortable spanning the breadth of People Operations and Talent Acquisition, with the ability to go deep into certain projects and functions as the business requires.
- Be resourceful and able to support the organization in simplifying overcomplicated processes.
- Be willing to make a big impact in a small People Operations team and grow with the company.
- Be available to work full-time, ideally based in Melbourne, with flexibility for working 4 days a week, 9 days a fortnight, or other arrangements.
- Be able to work flexibly between the office in Melbourne CBD and home, with options for working from a co-working space in Sydney or elsewhere in Australia, and from a co-working space in London, UK.
- Candidates must already be based in Australia and have full working rights to apply.

- Complete a take-home project as part of the interview process.
- Participate in multiple interview stages including a screening interview, a follow-up interview to discuss the project and experience, a culture interview with Amber Culture Champs, and a final interview with the co-CEO and an executive team member.
