Job Description
A Data Analyst at Amber will apply analytical skills to define, measure, and operationalize data and insights that optimize operations and support the company's mission to accelerate the renewable energy transition through innovative energy management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, measure, operationalize, and democratize data, metrics, and insights to support decision making.
- Collaborate with COO, operations team, and data engineering team to develop reporting systems.
- Optimize the meter-to-cash lifecycle and enhance customer experience through data analysis.
Requirements
- A Data Analyst who is excited about applying their analytical skills to define, measure, operationalize and democratize data, metrics and insights that drive decision making across the operations organisation.
- Experience working directly with the COO and senior members of the operations team as well as data engineering team to build reporting and drive insights.
- Ability to optimize the meter to cash lifecycle and improve the end-to-end customer experience through data analysis.
- Full-time availability to work ideally from Melbourne, with flexibility for remote work within Australia, including occasional catch-ups in co-working spaces for Sydney-based candidates.
- Candidates must already have full working rights in Australia to be eligible to apply.
- Willingness to participate in a multi-stage interview process including an initial screening interview, a take-home case study, a follow-up case study interview with the COO and Senior Data Engineer, a cultural interview with a Senior Product Manager and Operations team member, and a final interview with the CEO and Engineering Manager.
- Ability to answer bonus questions in the cover letter regarding the mathematical relationship between the wholesale price published on AEMO and the price Amber customers pay, and to specify their current favorite analytics tool.
