Job Description
The Customer Service Specialist - Billing role involves supporting customers with billing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience, contributing to Amber's mission of transforming the energy industry through innovative renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with billing inquiries and issues
- Provide support and guidance related to energy products and services
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and improve service quality
Requirements
- Candidates must be already based in Australia, preferably Melbourne, with full working rights.
- Applicants must submit a resume and a cover letter as part of the application process.
- Candidates must be able to participate in an initial screening interview with the Talent team starting from 5th Jan 2026.
- Candidates must be able to complete a take-home case study as part of the hiring process.
- Candidates must participate in a follow-up case study interview with the Customer Experience Operations Lead and one other member of the Cx Ops team.
- Candidates must attend a final interview with the Customer Experience Manager and/or the Director of Operations.
- Applicants must demonstrate passion and curiosity for the work, even if they do not meet every listed requirement.
- Candidates must be able to comply with the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion, and be willing to work in a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Candidates must be able to provide information about battery brands compatible with the company's Smart Shift product if asked (bonus point).
