Job Description
The Customer Operations Lead is responsible for managing and developing a team that engages with customers to educate them about Amber's renewable energy products, address their concerns, and improve the overall customer experience, supporting the company's mission to accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the customer operations team to enhance the end-to-end customer experience.
- Leverage metrics to monitor team performance and drive improvements in customer service quality.
- Oversee daily customer interactions, providing education on Amber's products and mission.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently.
- Act as the voice of the customer to suggest and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience leadership team to align on strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in managing and leading a team, with strong management skills and the ability to leverage metrics to drive a great customer experience.
- Experience liaising with customers on a day-to-day basis, educating customers on products and mission, and addressing their concerns and problems.
- Ability to take initiative to suggest ideas on how to improve and streamline internal processes based on customer feedback.
- Permanent full-time availability to work based in Melbourne, with flexibility to work in the office in Melbourne CBD and from home.
- Full working rights to be based in Melbourne, Australia.
- Experience or ability to effectively communicate and educate customers about Amber’s products and mission.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to be an exceptional people manager.
- Comfortable using metrics to monitor and improve customer experience.
- Experience in customer operations, customer experience, or related roles (implied by the leadership and management responsibilities).
