Job Description
A social media strategist responsible for developing and executing social media campaigns, creating engaging content across multiple platforms, managing community interactions, and enhancing brand visibility to support AlertMedia's growth and mission of emergency communication and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategy and create content across multiple platforms to support brand awareness and demand generation.
- Manage social content calendar, moderate community interactions, and respond to audience comments to foster engagement.
- Lead social media campaigns for product launches, events, and announcements, including pre-, live-, and post-event strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and optimize social media presence, including platforms like Reddit and Quora.
- Enhance executive visibility by creating and managing social content for leadership, including posts and internal communications.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify growth opportunities and inform digital strategies.
- Provide creative direction for visual and storytelling formats, testing new design and video trends to elevate brand presence.
- Research and adopt emerging social media tools, trends, and AI capabilities to improve efficiency and engagement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years social media experience at a growing company, preferably in B2B.
- Strong written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven track record managing organic brand social campaigns across major platforms including LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta, with the ability to speak to measurable impact.
- Experience developing and executing holistic social strategies, including planning, content creation, and measurement across multiple platforms.
- Skilled at developing social-optimized content that aligns to brand voice and style guidelines.
- Experience working with senior executive stakeholders is a plus.
- Comfortable with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Pictory, and/or other design content creation tools.
