Job Description
A leadership role in customer marketing at a fast-growing SaaS company, responsible for developing and executing programs to drive product adoption, retention, expansion, and community engagement, while managing a team and collaborating across departments to achieve business growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the vision and priorities for customer marketing aligned with company goals.
- Manage, coach, and support a team of three direct reports to deliver strategic impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing teams.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as developing a customer journey map and marketing attribution model.
- Analyze performance metrics to inform strategy, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the customer marketing budget to maximize ROI and align with growth targets.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with 2 years focused specifically on customer marketing, retention lifecycle, or growth.
- 2 years of experience managing and developing high-performing direct reports.
- Proven success leading integrated programs that increase product adoption, reduce churn, and drive expansion pipeline.
- Experience building marketing programs across multiple channels including email, in-app, gifting, events, webinars, and digital community platforms.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of building strong partnerships with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams.
- Data-savvy mindset with the ability to build dashboards, report on KPIs, and turn insights into action.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong copywriting skills with experience leveraging AI to increase output.
- Familiarity with tools like Gainsight, Salesforce, Sendoso, and Outreach is preferred.
