Job Description

A Sales Development Representative at AlertMedia is responsible for engaging strategic prospects through outbound outreach, building relationships, and collaborating with Account Executives to generate leads and support sales growth in a fast-paced, consultative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high volume prospecting and phone outreach to generate qualified leads.
  • Partner with Account Executives to engage new customers and support prospecting efforts.
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  • Develop expertise in the AlertMedia platform and communicate its value to prospects.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine prospecting strategies.
  • Use a consultative approach to advise prospects on communication solutions and demonstrate products.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Austin or surrounding areas and have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth sales environment preferred.
  • Outstanding organization, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Passion for sales with an ability to exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and ability to set demos and meetings.
  • Ability to conduct high volume prospecting and phone outreach for qualified leads using tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques.
  • Ability to partner closely with Account Executives to engage new customers and support prospecting efforts.
  • Ability to build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business.
  • Use a consultative approach to advise prospects on how AlertMedia can help solve their communication challenges.
  • Ability to demonstrate AlertMedia’s products and key differentiators conversationally.
  • Desire and willingness to be coached and a passion for continual learning.
  • Ability to communicate activities transparently with management.
  • Ability to self-manage pipeline and activity with autonomy and collaboration.
  • Experience managing and logging tasks and activities regularly and correctly in Salesforce is a plus.
  • Tons of energy, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, approaching the role as though it’s your own business.
  • Desire to be an Account Executive is a plus.
