Job Description

A Software Engineer II specializing in AI development tools, responsible for designing and implementing AI-powered workflows and agents to enhance software development processes, improve efficiency, and reduce friction across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design AI-powered development workflows and agents to assist in engineering tasks such as test generation, code review, and CI feedback.
Improve local development environments and reduce CI cycle times to enhance developer productivity.
Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt and integrate AI-assisted workflows and tools.
Build internal tools to streamline and remove friction from the development process.
Stay current with AI tooling and techniques to implement meaningful productivity improvements.

Requirements

Strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on coding experience
Experience building systems or tools that other engineers rely on
Experience with Docker, local development environments, and CI systems
Familiarity with automated testing and test performance issues
Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, specifically Python or JavaScript
TypeScript proficiency is required
AWS and Postgres experience
The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environment
English proficiency, both written and oral, is required
Must reside in Mexico and have permanent residency in Mexico; the company does not sponsor visas
