Job Description
The Learning Development Manager is responsible for designing and implementing impactful training programs to enhance team performance and customer success within AlertMedia's global Customer Operations team, supporting onboarding and continuous learning initiatives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver impactful learning programs to enhance team performance and customer success.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for global employees.
- Assess training needs and adapt programs to evolving team and customer requirements.
- Incorporate emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve training delivery and engagement.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to align learning initiatives with business needs.
- Create engaging, results-driven learning experiences using instructional design principles.
- Design scalable onboarding programs to accelerate new hire readiness and performance.
- Measure training effectiveness using data and feedback to continuously improve learning outcomes.
- Document and optimize operational processes to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in Learning Development, with a strong focus on instructional design and program strategy.
- Experience supporting customer-facing or operations teams, ideally within a software, SaaS, or technology environment.
- Background in Customer Operations, with a deep understanding of the skills and workflows that enable performance.
- Comfortable adopting and championing new technologies, including agentic and generative AI, as part of learning solutions.
- Strong instructional design, facilitation, and project management skills using tools such as Canva, Wrike, and Articulate.
- Data-driven approach to measuring and improving training effectiveness.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
- Passion for continuous learning and innovation.
- Demonstrated ability to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to work.
- A passion for continual learning with a desire and willingness to be coached.
- Creative, collaborative spirit and commitment to driving operational excellence through learning.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment.
- Strong listening skills.
- Thrives with both autonomy and collaboration.
- Expertise in applying adult learning theory to drive engagement and behavior change.
- Experience building onboarding programs that create consistent, high-impact new hire experiences.
