Job Description

The Enterprise Account Executive at AlertMedia is responsible for selling emergency communication software to large enterprise clients, building relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving new business growth in the Northern European market through consultative and strategic sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell AlertMedia's software platform to large enterprise organizations to improve emergency communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to generate new business.
  • Conduct high-volume prospecting, outreach, and product demonstrations to qualified leads.
  • Advise prospects on how AlertMedia solutions address their communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, marketing, and sales teams to manage the sales pipeline and process.
  • Negotiate enterprise-level deals, including proposals and contracts, with a focus on value creation.
  • Transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and pursue expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a consultative, prospect-to-close technology sales role with the ability to articulate past strategies and successes in both an inside and face-to-face setting.
  • Experience in selling B2B software solutions from prospecting to closing.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and ability to self-set demos and meetings.
  • Experience negotiating enterprise-level deals with integrity, including the ability to turn pricing conversations into value-add conversations.
  • Ability to uncover and quantify customer pain points and associate those pains back to the company's solutions across various stakeholders within enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and logging tasks and activities regularly and correctly in Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems, with accurate forecasting ability.
  • Knowledge of various Sales Methodologies, including Force Management MEDDPICC.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the territory 10-20% of the time.
  • Ability to effectively use tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques for high-volume prospecting and outreach.
  • Ability to conduct high volume prospecting and phone outreach to generate qualified leads.
  • Experience scheduling and delivering customized virtual and in-person meetings and product demonstrations to enterprise targets.
  • Experience partnering with Sales Development Representatives and marketing teams to build pipeline and move prospects down the funnel.
  • Ability to transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and pursue land and expand opportunities.
  • Ongoing transparent communication about activities with management.
