Job Description

The Enterprise Account Executive at AlertMedia is responsible for selling emergency communication software solutions to large enterprise clients, building relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and driving new business growth in the Northern European market through consultative and strategic sales approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the AlertMedia software platform to large enterprise organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct high-volume prospecting and outreach to generate qualified leads.
  • Schedule and deliver virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Advise prospects on how AlertMedia solutions address their communication challenges.
  • Identify and quantify customer pain points and align them with AlertMedia offerings.
  • Partner with Sales Development Representatives to engage potential customers and expand prospecting efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to manage the sales process, including proposals and negotiations.
  • Transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and pursue upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a consultative, prospect-to-close technology sales role with the ability to articulate past strategies and successes in both an inside and face-to-face setting.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Experience in B2B software solutions sales, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals.
  • Hunter mentality with an always prospecting approach and the ability to self-set demos and meetings.
  • Experience negotiating enterprise-level deals with integrity, including the ability to turn pricing conversations into value-add conversations.
  • Ability to uncover and quantify customer pain points and associate those pains back to the company's solutions across various stakeholders within enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and logging tasks and activities regularly and correctly in Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
  • Accurate forecasting ability based on CRM data and activities.
  • Knowledge of various Sales Methodologies, including Force Management MEDDPICC.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the territory 10-20% of the time.
  • Ability to transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and partner to pursue land and expand opportunities.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial, growth mindset, approaching the role as though it’s your own business.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ongoing transparent communication about activities with management.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate pipeline generation activities with Sales Development Representatives and work closely with marketing and sales leadership teams.
  • Comfort with conducting high volume prospecting and phone outreach using tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques.
  • Experience in negotiating and managing proposals, legal and security reviews, and contracts.
