Job Description
A Customer Account Executive, Mid-Market at AlertMedia is responsible for managing sales activities within a geographic territory, engaging prospects and customers, demonstrating the platform, closing sales, and supporting customer success to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute day-to-day sales activities within a large geographic territory.
- Meet with sales manager to review forecast, pipeline, opportunities, and strategies to exceed quotas.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Success, Renewals, and Marketing to ensure customer success and sales growth.
- Engage potential customers through prospecting and partner with Sales Development Representatives.
- Conduct customer meetings for sales growth, negotiations, product demonstrations, and support.
- Execute the company's sales methodology and process effectively.
- Learn and demonstrate the AlertMedia platform to new and non-users.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and existing customers to drive revenue and expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in SaaS Software as a Service Sales
- A people first, process oriented and data driven mindset
- Experience managing opportunities with complex, multi-threaded sales cycles
- Ability to influence others including senior level and C-suite stakeholders
- Proven success in closing expansion opportunities with a consistent track record of hitting goals and numbers
- Demonstrated success in relationship building, prospecting, pipeline management, contract negotiation, and closing customers
- Ability to build positive relationships and influence key stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be personable yet persistent
- Experience with sales technologies like Salesforce and Outreach
