Job Description
The role involves selling AlertMedia's emergency communication software to SMB organizations through prospecting, product demonstrations, and relationship building, with a focus on achieving sales targets and supporting the company's mission to save lives and minimize loss.
Key Responsibilities
- Become an expert in the AlertMedia platform and tools for SMB customers
- Conduct high-volume prospecting using various tools to generate qualified leads
- Schedule and deliver customized online product demonstrations
- Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
- Use a consultative approach to demonstrate solutions addressing prospects' problems
- Manage the sales process from demos to proposals, negotiations, and contract execution
- Transition closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and pursue expansion opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to execute sales strategies for new products and features
Requirements
- Experience in a consultative SaaS sales role as an SDR, Account Executive, or similar position
- Proven ability to consistently hit and exceed sales quota
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
- Outstanding communication skills
- Extremely organized with strong pipeline management skills
- Proactive, consultative, and likable personality who loves selling and wants to continue a successful sales career path
- Experience with high volume prospecting for qualified leads using tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other outbound techniques
- Ability to confidently call prospective SMB customers and prospects without scripts
- Ability to schedule and deliver customized online product demonstrations
- Experience managing the closing process including demos, proposals, legal and security reviews, negotiation, and contract execution
- Ability to build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
- Experience transitioning closed accounts to Customer Success Managers and pursuing land and expand opportunities
- Ability to collaborate with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as new products and features are released
- Willingness to work 2-3 days a week in-office at the Windsor office
- Willingness to participate in a hybrid work environment
