Job Description

The Technical Support Associate provides phone-based technical assistance to security system dealers and partners, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and offering product training to ensure proper system functionality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dealers and partners with technical inquiries regarding security solutions
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and alarm integration issues
  • Conduct technical investigations on reported issues and collaborate with engineering to resolve them
  • Provide product overview training to dealers on security solutions
  • Document troubleshooting steps and best practices

Requirements

  • Three years of relevant experience in technical support, security systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking, camera systems CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work across multiple technical mediums while remaining attentive to customer needs.
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with computer applications such as web-based software, mobile apps, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
