Job Description
A senior mobile engineer role focused on developing and leading the creation of React Native applications for Android within a collaborative, international team, with responsibilities including architecture design, native module integration, mentorship, and cross-team communication in the smart security solutions industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of React Native mobile applications for Android.
- Define mobile architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and integration with backend micro-services.
- Build and maintain native modules bridging React Native with Android native code.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and fostering technical excellence.
- Collaborate with US stakeholders to refine requirements and align technical solutions.
- Champion automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization to ensure app stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Inżynier Licencjat or Master's Magister in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of professional software development experience.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with React Native in a production environment.
- Solid background in Native Android Development including Java and Kotlin, with the ability to navigate native code and debug issues crossing the React Native bridge.
- Proven experience leading a team, mentoring junior or mid-level developers, or serving as a Lead Engineer.
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to accommodate flexible hours to enable synchronous collaboration with US teams in EST and MST time zones.
