Job Description

A Staff Software Engineer focused on AI enablement, responsible for integrating next-generation AI technologies into the company's products and workflows, leading innovation, solving complex problems, and collaborating across teams to deliver impactful engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the adoption of Agentic AI practices across the organization using tools like Copilot to enhance development workflows
  • Develop robust features and products by integrating AI-driven processes with traditional full-stack engineering
  • Solve large-scale, complex problems using AI-first methodologies and lead experiments to create repeatable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI tools and workflows into existing systems
  • Work across diverse platforms and technologies, including IoT, SaaS, and agent-based solutions, while adopting new methodologies
  • Contribute hands-on to backend services, websites, and databases, and lead the development of scalable, high-availability services using AI-enabled workflows
  • Research emerging AI technologies and establish reusable frameworks, processes, and best practices for organizational scaling

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of professional software development experience
  • Experience coding with autonomous agents, vibe coding, or working with AI copilots, combined with strong skills in full-stack engineering
  • Fluent in modern programming languages and paradigms such as Python, C++, JavaScript, and capable of advancing IoT and SaaS technologies
  • Experience with distributed systems and event streaming platforms such as Kafka
  • Experience in developing and integrating features and products using modern AI-driven processes with traditional full-stack development practices, including backend services, websites, external-facing APIs, and databases
  • Ability to tackle large-scale, complex challenges using AI-first methodologies, creativity, and ambition, including leading experiments to convert solutions into repeatable processes
  • Experience collaborating closely with device engineers, business partners, and other engineering teams to integrate AI tools and workflows into existing ecosystems
  • Hands-on contribution and mentorship in backend services, websites, and databases, with a focus on creating scalable, high-throughput, high-availability services using AI-enabled workflows
  • Ability to investigate emerging AI technologies and define reusable frameworks, processes, and best practices for organizational scaling and impact
  • Willingness to work in an environment of rapid iteration and ambiguity, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality
  • Strong problem-solving skills at scale, with the ability to lead experiments and convert ambitious solutions into repeatable processes
  • Collaborative mindset with emotional intelligence, capable of working across diverse technical and non-technical teams
  • Builder mentality focused on creating, iterating, and scaling solutions with intent and urgency
  • Bias for action, balancing speed with impact, and deploying solutions with measurable outcomes
  • Physical ability to work in an office environment, with a preference for working in person at least 4 days a week
