Job Description
A Senior Technical Product Manager responsible for overseeing and developing the company's core platform infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance, and strategic growth through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain core platform systems, ensuring system health, performance, and adoption.
- Develop and execute technical strategy by understanding architecture and making informed platform improvements.
- Manage product lifecycle by prioritizing backlogs and translating technical concepts into business value.
- Analyze system metrics to assess performance, identify improvements, and guide platform strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and facilitate platform development.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure proper sequencing and communication of initiatives.
- Create documentation, training materials, and self-service tools to enhance developer experience.
- Identify and implement process improvements for program management and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience with a strong technical background in software development or engineering
- 5 years of experience with product lifecycle and ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive product development from conception to launch
- Expertise in choosing the best course of action in changing environments, ability to break down barriers to increase relationships and efficiency, and skill in building scalable and performance-driven control platforms
- A solid grasp of software development processes, ability to make decisions based on data, and understanding of the technical implications of those decisions
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools for project management and product roadmapping
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision making and proficiency in using tools for data analysis to inform product strategy
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
