Job Description

A Senior Software Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable communication protocols for IoT devices in the smart home industry, leading technical projects, mentoring engineers, and collaborating across teams to ensure high-performance, secure, and reliable platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software across multiple platforms and technologies.
Architect scalable, high-performance solutions for device protocol communications.
Guide the software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
Make strategic technical decisions and influence project architecture.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with proven success in delivering complex projects.
Advanced object-oriented programming skills, preferably in C++.
Strong experience with database design, SQL, and backend services.
Experience in the development and maintenance of full-stack software across diverse platforms and technologies.
Experience in architecting solutions that balance scalability, performance, and maintainability for device protocol communications.
Experience in implementing and improving unit testing and automated testing strategies.
Experience in distributed systems, real-time communications, or high-performance applications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
