Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer at Alarm.com develops full-stack software across various platforms, working on backend services, web applications, and device integrations for smart home security systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack software for various platforms and technologies.
- Participate in the entire project lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

- Research, evaluate, and apply new technologies and methodologies to solve project challenges.
- Exercise good judgment to balance quick solutions with robust, scalable ones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of professional software development experience
- Experience leading and mentoring other engineers
- Strong object-oriented programming skills
- Experience with database design and development
- Candidate must be able to communicate well within a team environment and work independently on self-directed tasks
