Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager at OpenEye is responsible for selling their video management systems to channel partners in the security industry across a specific region, managing territory development, building relationships, and exceeding sales goals through strategic sales efforts and partner development.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales goals through effective territory management
- Build relationships with regional accounts, dealers, and distribution partners
- Manage sales efforts including goal setting, training, joint sales calls, and presentations
- Develop regional key national partners through training and joint sales activities
- Attend regional and national trade shows and market events
- Create sales strategies, set appointments, and prepare management reports
- Resolve customer issues professionally with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years outside sales experience, preferably in a technology discipline
- 3 years Business to Business sales experience
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to travel overnight 70-85% of the time including some weekends
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset
- Possess corporate level presentation reporting abilities
- Technical aptitude
- Account development skills
