The Product Marketer at Alarm.com is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating product positioning and sales enablement content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product launches and business growth in the IoT and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Alarm.com products and new launches
Create product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement content
Act as the Voice of the Customer to gather feedback for product development and roadmaps
Support product launches by coordinating internal teams to meet milestones and delivery dates
Create marketing assets such as market briefs, sales playbooks, and thought leadership materials
Generate data-driven insights to inform product and marketing strategies
Develop and validate product positioning, messaging, and competitive segmentation
Communicate the value and technical benefits of Alarm.com products to internal and external audiences
Requirements
1-3 years of Product Marketing Experience OR Marketing experience in the Tech field
Bachelor's degree with a focus in business, engineering, or hard sciences is a plus
Demonstratable track record of crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
Passion for Internet of Things (IoT), software-as-a-service, technology, and innovative thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to synthesize high-level direction from leadership into actionable work products
Ability to own project development, execution, and completion autonomously
