Job Description
The Product Marketer at Alarm.com is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating product positioning and sales enablement content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product launches and business growth in the IoT and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Alarm.com products and new launches
- Create product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement content
- Act as the Voice of the Customer to gather feedback for product development and roadmaps
- Support product launches by coordinating internal teams to meet milestones and delivery dates
- Create marketing assets such as market briefs, sales playbooks, and thought leadership materials
- Generate data-driven insights to inform product and marketing strategies
- Develop and validate product positioning, messaging, and competitive segmentation
- Communicate the value and technical benefits of Alarm.com products to internal and external audiences
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Product Marketing Experience OR Marketing experience in the Tech field
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in business, engineering, or hard sciences is a plus
- Demonstratable track record of crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
- Passion for Internet of Things (IoT), software-as-a-service, technology, and innovative thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to synthesize high-level direction from leadership into actionable work products
- Ability to own project development, execution, and completion autonomously
