Job Description
A Product Manager at Alarm.com is responsible for developing and executing the vision for IoT solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative hardware and software products to market, and ensuring customer satisfaction through testing, education, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the product vision and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and supply chain teams to build products
- Test products to ensure they meet specifications and validate externally
- Educate internal and external stakeholders about the products
- Track and communicate progress on product development
- Work closely with support teams to ensure a positive customer experience
- Take ownership of tasks to advance development and resolve issues
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. or B.A. in an engineering discipline, computer science, math, physics or related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 1-3 years of experience
- Desire to work at the intersection of hardware and software
- History of taking initiative, tackling ambiguity and self-directed learning
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
