Job Description
The Research Scientist will conduct advanced research in computer vision and machine learning to develop intelligent video analytics solutions for smart home applications, involving innovation, model optimization, and leadership within a dynamic R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pioneering research in intelligent video analytics for smart home applications.
- Invent, refine, and adapt advanced computer vision and machine learning techniques for edge and cloud platforms.
- Drive research initiatives, contribute to discoveries, and advance organizational goals.
- Manage and oversee complex research projects and mentor junior team members.
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for visual recognition, video analysis, and generative AI applications.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of work experience in a relevant field.
- Solid research background and experience in computer vision and deep learning.
- Demonstration of both the breadth and the depth of knowledge and track record of solving challenging problems in real-world scenarios.
- Proven programming skills in Python, C, C++, and experience with frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience managing a technical team including research scientists and ML Engineering.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
