Job Description
An Electrical Engineer responsible for designing, validating, and supporting the manufacturing of embedded hardware systems, with a focus on camera systems, ensuring high reliability, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and select components for embedded hardware systems, including camera modules.
- Review and guide PCB layout to ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
- Conduct hardware validation through board bring-up, functional testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support hardware bring-up.
- Ensure hardware designs meet regulatory and safety standards such as FCC and CE.
- Apply DFM principles to prepare hardware for mass production.
- Support factory builds across EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production stages, including test planning and on-site issue resolution.
- Maintain detailed hardware documentation including schematics, BoMs, and validation reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- 3 years of hands-on experience in developing hardware for embedded systems, with a strong background in camera systems preferred
- Proficient in schematic capture and layout review tools such as OrCAD, Allegro, or Altium
- Solid understanding of power management, signal interfaces, and hardware bring-up techniques
- Familiar with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other lab instruments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in a professional engineering environment
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
